This master is 4-semester, modular course of study that builds on undergraduate work (bachelor´s degrees, diploma degrees). It is one of the few programs combining communication sciences with sport and geared to research and practice. The emphasis is on empirical communication research. It provides skills and knowledge needed in the workforce. Qualified graduates may pursue their doctoral degree.
Career Perspectives
Graduates of the Master´s Program in Sport, Media, and Communication Research are qualified for upper-level management fields demanding a background in media, communication, and scientific research. Potential employers include PR departments of sport clubs, publishing houses, radio and television stations, advertising, PR and media agencies, marketing firms, commercial market research institutes, sporting goods manufacturers, and research institutions.
