Requirements for the Viola Programme at Umberto Giordano Music Conservatory

Are you interested in studying viola at the Umberto Giordano Music Conservatory? We are delighted to welcome you to our programme!

In order to be accepted into the Viola Programme, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must have completed at least two years of study in a music school or conservatory.
• You must have a minimum grade of 8/10 in your previous studies.
• You must have a good knowledge of music theory and solfeggio.
• You must have a good knowledge of the viola repertoire.
• You must be able to demonstrate a good level of technical proficiency on the viola.
