This qualification reflects the function of people that possess paraprofessional level technical, creative and conceptual skills to originate, realise and exhibit a significant body of resolved work that communicates their own creative vision. Visual artists work within and across many mediums, and their training could incorporate plaster, electronic art, glasswork, drawing as well as jewellery manufacturing, painting, photomedia, print making, public art, sculpture, fabrics or timber design.Practice as of this level will be underpinned by means of art history and theory, the means to participate in critical discourse and to debate one\u2019s own work and the job of others. Visual artists can work within their own practice, or perhaps a wide selection of contexts over the arts, government or business organisations and also bring visual arts perspective to areas such as industry, community science and services fiction.
