The four-year Bilingual Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Conservation Sciences is a collaborative effort between Faculte Saint-Jean and the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. This program, unique in Canada, offers students the opportunity to obtain a fully bilingual Science degree in Environmental and Conservation Sciences in CanadaпПХs two official languages. Students will complete half of their course work in each of the two Faculties.The program responds to the need to prepare bilingual (French-English) graduates who will evaluate effects of human land use on plant, soil, water, animal and human resources; assess and facilitate conservation, reclamation and remediation measures for natural and damaged ecosystems; understand and communicate in both official languages the role that social, economic and political forces play in natural resource management. This unique degree will be attractive to Francophone and Francophile students across Canada and from other countries.
