The University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin (WSPA) was established in 1998 as a private higher education institution launching its first study programme "Company Management" with 415 students admitted to the first year. In the following academic year 1999/2000 the University College had already over 1 400 students.

The University College of Enterprise and Administration operates on the basis of the permission granted by the Minister of National Education and pursuant to the Higher Education Act of 27 July 2005 (Journal of Laws No. 164, item 1365, as amended) and legal regulations issued in accordance with the Act, as well as on the basis of the Statute. The school is supervised by the Founder and the minister competent for higher education, in accordance with the Higher Education Act.

The mission of the University College is to teach students to be creative, develop their careers and help them to find their own place in globalizing world. WSPA develops international and intercultural competencies of students through creating international environment at the University and through international mobility of students and faculty. The University College cooperates closely with a large number of European and non-European universities and colleges, associations, companies and labour market institutions.

WSPA has experience in projects financed by EU Structural Funds and Lifelong Learning Programmes- Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig, Study Visit, STF. Since 2007 WSPA has won twenty grants supported by EU Structural Funds amounting to nearly 8 million EUR, 200 000 EUR from Scholarship and Training Fund, LLP-Erasmus and Erasmus+ funding amounting to 1 million EUR. WSPA was granted the Leaders’ University Award and a title of Mobility Leader in projects funded by the Norwegian Funds. WSPA won the first place in category The Largest Training for Staff in the EEA Grants- Norway Grants in Poland.

Practical education is WSPA strong priority (internships, placements, business and public administration partners, practitioners as members of faculty). Teaching methods include study in small groups, tutorials, hands-on approach, individual and group projects, community projects. WSPA offers wide variety of opportunities for students: international short and long term mobility, Career Office, internships, work projects and placements in local and regional business partners, Students Government, biannual job fairs, business incubator for students. The school maintains also close ties with local and regional business community. 

Admission requirements

The applicant to study at WSPA is obliged to deliver, by registered letter, by a courier service or by hand, a complete set of the following documents:

  • An application form
  • An original or a certified copy of the certificate of secondary education, with a certified translation into Polish/English
  • A nostrification certificate – this document is required when a high school diploma has been issued in the country with which Poland has no bilateral agreement on mutual recognition of education documents, and when the country has signed such agreement with Poland but the said document is not covered by it; or a certificate of equivalency of the foreign high school diploma with the Polish high school diploma must be submitted when the foreign document has been issued in the country with which Poland has signed  an agreement on mutual recognition of education documents.
  • A certificate of English language proficiency or any other document confirming the knowledge of English. The requirement does not concern those candidates for whom English is either the native language or was the language of instruction at high school. 
  • A certified copy of a foreign passport  (the personal data page)
  • A copy of student visa (the original must be available for inspection), or a temporary residence card or any other document entitling the holder to stay in Poland.
  • A medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications against undertaking studies (regarding both the chosen programme and the mode of studies). 
  • Three 37x52mm photos
  • A proof of payment of the enrolment fee
  • An enrolment agreement

The University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin provides its students with comfortable learning conditions. Lectures and classes are held in the University College’s own building of over 4 450 m2.

In the University College building there are:

  • 2 lecture halls for 310 and 250 people, which can be joined into one hall with 560 seats,
  • a lecture room for 110 people,
  • 2 lecture rooms for 72 people,
  • 7 rooms for classes,
  • 8 computer laboratories.

About 1 300 students can participate simultaneously in educational activities in the University College building.

The University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin is friendly and open to students. A variety of events organized by students and staff of the University College, as well as celebrations in which the College takes part, facilitate the creative development of its students and attest to the College’s innovative approach.

Owing to the University College’s prestige, its graduates are able to find a good job. The latest education ranking compiled by the web portal “Perspektywy” and the “Rzeczpospolita” daily confirmed the strong position of the University College’s graduates on the labour market. Our University College, as the only non-public higher education institution in the Lublin region, was positively evaluated by employers, with the score of 6.4.                

Apart from regular study programmes, the University College offers its students opportunities to participate in student research associations, to obtain additional certificates, and to take part in student placements and internships abroad.
