We are looking to recruit highly motivated candidates with the potential to develop a broad appreciation of all aspects of the management of people, technology, science and policy in relation to environmental issues.
Prospective candidates should possess a good honours degree (second class minimum), or comparable international qualification.
If your first degree is from a country other than the UK, you may find the guidelines within our Country Index helpful. Please note that these guidelines indicate the College minimum.
University training in environment-related subjects is not a pre-requisite for our course. We welcome applications from candidates with first degrees not only in science and engineering but also in the social sciences and, indeed, any academic subject in which there is a link to the way that we understand, value or manage an aspect of our diverse environment. Over half of students on this course have completed work experience since their first degree.
Recruitment to the course requires applicants to specify at least two specialist options in order of preference in their personal statement in their application. Entry to the course is assessed separately for each specialist option.
