The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is currently Griffith's premier research training degree. It's your chance to research a specific research area or topic that you are enthusiastic about. You will soon be challenged to develop your initial research endeavor and receive training and guidance from your manager. The PhD is awarded based on a thesis or alternative substantial research output prepared independently under oversight that creates a substantial and original contribution to knowledge in the appropriate field of study as judged by independent experts of worldwide standing.
