Our team is very much looking forward to working with you as you develop and implement your career management strategy.
At Yale, you will have the opportunity to work closely with one of the CDO's Relationship Managers who specialize in industry groups and provide students with the guidance and tools to meet career aspirations. The CDO also helps students initiate new relationships (and maintain existing relationships) with industry-leading organizations.
Core classes provide deep insights into global business trends and challenges. Elective choices allow you to personalize your study and advance your professional interests.
MAM Core:
- Colloquium in Advanced Management: A series of small-setting, off-the-record conversations between MAM students and leading senior executives from across industries.
- Advanced Leadership Development Program: A carefully designed leadership program stressing self-awareness, goal-setting, cross-cultural competencies, and people development via coaching and mentoring.
- Global Challenges Seminar: A seminar series featuring leading thinkers from throughout Yale University on some of the most pressing global challenges and resulting business implications.
- Advanced Management Practicum: A challenging hands-on real-life project in which students can bring their accumulated knowledge to bear and gain additional practical experience.
Admission to the Master of Advanced Management program is available to students who either (1) are enrolled in Global Network for Advanced Management member schools and expect to receive their MBA degree or equivalent before matriculating at Yale or (2) have recently graduated from a Global Network for Advanced Management member school with an MBA or equivalent degree. (3) On a case by case basis, Yale SOM may admit to the MAM exceptional students who have not yet completed their MBA or equivalent degree provided:The student has satisfactorily completed the required MBA (or equivalent) core curriculum;The Global Network school where the student is enrolled in the MBA (or equivalent) program will count credits earned at Yale as part of the MAM program toward the MBA (or equivalent) degree; and;The student will have completed the MBA (or equivalent) program and obtained the respective degree prior to completing the MAM degree at Yale.A TOEFL, PTE Academic, or IELTS score is neccessary if English is not the primary language of instruction at your MBA or equivalent program. All applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships. No separate application is required. Merit scholarship recipients are notified at the same time that they are admitted.
In addition, many outside sources provide academic scholarships. Some employers may offer scholarship assistance, as do industry associations, foundations, fraternal organizations, clubs, athletic organizations, and ethnic associations.
