The UTS Master of Animation and Visualisation has been developed in partnership with Animal Logic and is offered Throughout the UTS Animal Logic Academy. The class develops collaborative problemsolving skills and expertise through creative and technical collaborative work in a custom built studio using realworld manufacturing work structures and creative and technical endeavors, under the guidance and mentorship of practitioners and creative leaders out of the market, including Animal Logic. The course provides opportunities and challenges which encourage mining and skills-building throughout the spectrum of roles in digital production, animation, visual effects along with emerging visualisation disciplines. Collaborative work clinics direct the evolution of strong competencies in critical thinking, problem solving, design thinking and successful communication within a manufacturing atmosphere. Graduates are able to work productively and effectively in a professional workplace atmosphere.

  • UTS recognised bachelor level, or equivalent or higher qualification, or filed other evidence of general and professional credentials that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies. The English competency requirement for international students or regional applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
  • Or TOEFL: newspaper established: 550-583 complete with TWE of 4.5, internet established: 79-93 complete with a writing score of 2 1
  • Or AE5: Walk
  • Or PTE: 58-64
  • Or CAE: 176-184. Qualification for entry does not guarantee offer of a place. Applicants must provide materials substantiating their skills into digital production or visualisation. Application will include: digital portfolio (up to 10 pages in PDF or quick time showreel of only 10 minutes)
  • Or documented experience in programming
  • Private statement of 300 words
  • CV
  • And a consideration of the character played from the creation of any work submitted.
