Animation

This system intends to establish expertise in all areas of animation. Students will develop fundamental knowledge and knowledge in this exciting industry in areas like 3D modelling, character animation, rigging, textures, project management, team work, lighting, rendering and compositing. Developing a solid understanding of these subjects provides students with a solid foundation and context for further study before researching in detail that the pro areas. They'll learn on industry standard applications such as Maya, Autodesk 3D MAX and the Adobe Creative Suite. Students will acquire specialised units created for students to participate in real world projects. With this special teaching style, students will demonstrate skills and technical knowledge in a collaborative and creative studio-based learning environment. In the smoothness Animation specialisation, students will focus on the essentials of character animation such as simulating, movement studies, human body mechanics, facial animation and a lot more. Students may also learn how to create effective and easy to use animation springs which functions as an effective way to control and animate a character, similar to the controllers of a puppet.
