This training course is for students interested in pursuing a career as a forensic lab scientist. The course has an effect on laboratory-based areas of forensic biology and forensic chemistry. Students will: learn analytic approaches to examine signs; collect and examine trace evidence; master environmental forensic-science; explore forensic toxicology; understand forensic statistics; specialise in biological and chemical investigation; work collaboratively to forensic casestudies; and translate and research on analytical results.
Admission for the course is based in an entrance status. A status can be achieved by a year 12 ATAR, additional Australian eligibility, work experience, or an international qualification.
