Its focus is on developing architectural design skills to an advanced , on understanding research throughout the medium of design, and building a more self-critical comprehension of your own work.

Completion of the 2-year Master of Architecture program, Following a 3-year Bachelor degree, is required to meet the academic requirements for registration as an architect under the Architects Registration Act of Victoria, Also for membership of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects. Qualified experience is necessary before graduates qualify for enrollment.

  • Conclusion of a first architectural Subject degree is a prerequisite for entry to the Master of Architecture
  • Bachelor of Architectural Design by RMIT with a GPA of 2.5 or above fulfils this prerequisite
  • A degree from another institution will need to be architecture-specific and Approval in to the Master App Will Be Merit-based
