A distinctive feature of this Master's programme is its multidisciplinary approach. Psychologists and educationalists work together on themes such as addiction, dyslexia, phobias, relationships, stereotypes and stress. This integrated approach is highly appreciated by our Master's students. The research master is part the Behavioural Science Institute Graduate School (BSI-GS). The BSI is a high-quality research institute with great facilities for experimental and field research (e.g. Virtual Reality Labs, observation labs, two mobile labs (bus), eye-tracking equipment). As a student you will follow courses (both general en specific) and you will do your own research projects under supervision of BSI research staff. The programme will train students to become researchers in psychology or education by providing a strong theoretical underpinning in the core subjects of behavioural science, a solid practical training in research skills, and a thorough training in advanced quantitative data analysis. This programme was recently awarded the quality label 'Top Programme' in the Netherlands in the Keuzegids Masters 2017.

Theme courses: Behaviour Regulation; Neuroscience of Behaviour; Psychobiology of Behaviour; Socialisation and Education; Interpersonal Relations and Interactions; Behavioural Decision Making; Learning, and Learning Problems; Developmental Psychopathology; Emotion; Dynamics of Complex Systems; Diagnosis and Treatment; Stress and Health Behaviour; Motivation, Influence and Communication; Psychopathology, Prevention and Intervention.
