Our MBA program empowers students to take on management and leadership roles in the global market. The program focuses on how to constructively develop innovative business plans, manage completing projects, and enhance critical thinking skills within a collaborative environment. Our curriculum facilitates practical application through a diverse blend of workshops, lectures, seminars and experiential learning projects. Interdisciplinary and intercultural partnerships allow students to gain the leadership and interpersonal skills needed to succeed in competitive business environments. Students will acquire the knowledge and professional competencies that enable them to start and build their own companies and constructively manage business conflicts. Upon completing the Master’s of Business Administration Program (MBA) at Berlin International, students will be able to develop strategies for common challenges companies face in the globalized world today.
At Berlin International all lectures are fully taught in English. Teaching the MBA courses in English helps prepare our students for the global market and supports their role in an international business setting.
The study program attached below comprises both options, the 1-year as well as the 2 years program. Students, who have completed 180 (ECTS) during their bachelor's studies are going to choose the 2 years option, where they are going to receive 120 credit points (ECTS) as a result of their studies. Students, who have completed 240 (CP) during their bachelor's studies, are going to choose the 1-year option, where they are going to receive 60 credit points (ECTS) as a result of their studies.
This study program is composed of modules in which different forms of teaching and learning are related contextually and chronologically and which, except for the master's thesis, are completed by accompanying examination credits in accordance with the Framework Study and Examination Regulations.
Language requirements
Applicants must provide proof of their English skills: TOEFL 537 (paper-based), 74 (Internet-based), IELTS 6, FCE B. If the applicant's English skills are not sufficient at the point of application, an English language preparatory course (one to two semesters) may be taken at BI.

- English language skills (Level B2 or above)

Funding opportunities within the university
Berlin International offers a scholarship programme for excellent students. Three university-internal scholarships are offered to students of the Bachelor's programme in Business Administration: one 50% scholarship and two 25% scholarships. Services and support for international students
International students are assisted by our Students Affairs Officer with general, non-academic issues. An Internship Office assists students in finding fitting internship possibilities in Berlin or elsewhere (also internationally). Due to our excellent staff-student and professor-student ratio, each student will have the opportunity to receive help and assistance in academic and non-academic matters, if required. Cultural events and trips to get acquainted with Berlin and Germany are organised by the BI team. If students choose to live in the apartments provided by the university, English-speaking staff are available.
Accommodation
Accommodation in single or double, fully equipped student apartments can be arranged. The building complex is situated in a quiet and safe residential area in south-west Berlin. The apartment building is well connected via the public transport system to the main campus and to all parts of the city. English-speaking staff are available.
