The MS BANA Program is a STEM-designated program, which allows international students to remain in the country and gain work experience through Optional Practical Training (OPT) for an extended period of time.
Business Analytics teaches you to use mathematical models to enhance decision-making capabilities in the workplace. This gives you an understanding of the more common types of modeling procedures—predictive modeling with big data, data analysis, forecasting, operations management and other advanced quantitative methods—so you learn to make decisions based on data.

Practicum
The Business Analytics Practicum course is a leading-edge teaching approach to training students in real-world applications of quantitative methods. In the Practicum, students, under the direction of faculty, address a real-world problem proposed by an industry sponsor.
General Admissions Requirements
- Applicants must have an undergraduate degree, however it does not have to be a business degree.
- Your complete academic records, including GPAs and previous coursework are considered.
- Undergraduate degrees must be from regionally accredited four year colleges or universities.
- GMAT testing. The GMAT exam is a computer-adaptive test that consists of four sections: analytical writing assessment, integrative reasoning, quantitative and verbal. See the application packet for information.
- Work Experience. Relevant background and a history of increasing responsibility are viewed positively, but are not required for admission.
- International Students have additional English Language Proficiency requirements.
