Plan and manage events: from conferences and conventions to food weddings and festivals. The direction and functioning of an event is a highly skilled and technical undertaking - and it is also big business. A conference may be a little business seminar, or it might include a large global conference, the yearly Taste of Sydney wine and food showcase, a high profile society wedding or even a charity dinner for 2000 people in a five-star hotel. This program will teach students how to manage and operate an event from conception, through to performance and post-production. With guided industry experience along the way they will acquire the theoretical skills and operational knowledge to stick out in the business.
