Description

Operations and projects are seen as complementary and synergistic: the former is concerned with incremental improvements and wide-scale innovative change and the latter deals with the implementation of such change. Both of these disciplines also need to link with, and be informed by, a high-level business strategy designed to employ resources, such as knowledge, people skills, materials and finance, to deliver goods and/or services required to meet corporate objectives.

You will be given the knowledge to take an overarching perspective, through the study of the key processes, systems and practices that contribute to the effective projects and operations, including an understanding of the importance of individual and corporate behaviours, cultures and their international dimensions. Skills will be developed for applying business-specific tools for analysis, decision-making and evaluation to a range of scenarios and problems concerned with the planning, controlling and integration of business activitie
