Description Requirements

How can you design a slow-release drug system and produce it in sufficient amounts? How can we make biodiesel from the Jatropha plant? How can we use waste products for pharmaceutical purposes? These are some of the interesting questions you will be able to answer once you have completed the Master's degree programme in Chemical Engineering in Groningen. Groningen offers a Master's degree programme for students who already have a solid background in chemistry, and who are eager to expand their knowledge and experience. The two-year programme offers four specialisations, besides a core programme (compulsory for every student): * Advanced Process Technology * Bio-based Products * Industrial Catalysts * Polymeric Products The first three specialisations focus on product sectors, whereas Advanced Process Technology is the one specialisation which focuses on process technology. In the core programme you will deal with themes such as interfacial engineering, bio-based products, polymer products and advanced product engineering.
