Communication and Data Science

This double degree increases livelihood options across communication and data science fields. Know the function and influence of communication and also develop extensive understanding of data science programs and methods to apply and certainly communicate the insights gained by expressing knowledge from data. The communication component develops expertise in spoken, written, visual and electronic formats around local and global communication systems. The info science component covers the essential theory and the tools for data acquisition, storage, management, processing, analysis and visualisation. • Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 4 & 3, C)
• Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 4 & 3, C).
