The current financial crisis has evidenced the need to analyze the effectiveness of corporate law in its economic, financial and global context. The LLM in Corporate Law is an innovative programme that aims to transcend a narrow focus on legal rules, and situate the study of corporate law in a wider interdisciplinary and comparative framework. The programme will equip students with discipline-specific and transferable skills that are particularly valuable to businesses, professional practices and regulatory bodies.
The LLM in Corporate Law is designed to ensure that students will develop their knowledge and skills along three dimensions of knowledge: UK company law; comparative and international aspects of corporate law; economic and financial aspects of corporate law.
