Data Science

This course introduces students to some sort of of data interpretation, so teaching them the skills to determine, translate and fundamentally afford trends at both the micro and global scale. The course combines interdisciplinary coursework, research methodology, and extensive training via industry-based projects (work-integrated learning). Students will: Learn about the wisdom and skills to see and translate big-data; Become adept using advanced tools; Learn how to analyse data bases and offer innovative solutions; Gain practical skills focusing on real world dilemmas; Understand and employ professional integrity, team work, critical investigation, communication and management skills; Construct strong industry networks; and Earn an industry recognised and respected qualification.

An Australian bachelor degree in any field or equivalent.
