Design (Architecture) and Engineering

This double degree increases career options across engineering and design fields. The design and architecture degree focuses on sustainable systems and their application in designing endeavors and also is encouraged by the use of teaching, research and practice. Students will learn to create environments with favorable impacts on human health, environmental qualityand social relationships and urban systems. They'll study sustainable systems and also undertake architectural design projects within practical studio settings. The Engineering (Honours) degree enables students to master to recognize and solve a variety of engineering issues. All students complete a base first-semester and choose in a engineering specialisation from the wide variety of majors.

Architecture: This course, along with the next Master of Architecture Class, has received full Certification from the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia, Also full Appreciation from the Australian Institute of Architects. Graduates qualify for membership of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA), the professional body for Australian designers. Engineering: Engineers Australia.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature, or English as Another Language (Units 4 & 3, C)
• Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 4 & 3, C).
