Development Studies

The Master of Development Studies at UNSW can be a flexible and interactive postgraduate degree that provides skilled studies in international development at the local, national and international level. This Guru program may satisfy the professional needs of those already working as development pros, as well as providing an orientation for international development for people seeking entrance into the area. Postgraduate classes are predicated on a doctrine of human rights, social justice, community development and participatory approaches.

• One year old plan: Honours degree or Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant field with a record of academic achievement equal to a UNSW credit average (65 percent )
• Bachelor level (or equivalent) in a relevant field with a record of academic achievement equivalent to a UNSW credit average (65 percent ), and 1 year applicable specialist experience. 1.5 year plan: Bachelor level (or equivalent) in a relevant field with a record of academic achievement equivalent to a UNSW credit average (65 percent )
• Bachelor level (or equivalent) in any discipline with a listing of academic achievement equivalent to a UNSW credit average (65 percent ), plus twelve months relevant practitioner experience
• Honours level or Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in any field with a listing of academic achievement equal to a UNSW credit average (65 percent ). 2 yr plan: Bachelor level (or equivalent) in any field with a listing of academic achievement equal to a UNSW charge average of 65%.
