Earth Science

Earth scientists study the materials that make up the Earth, and the natural and human processes that shape its landscape. You will work across four disciplines of geology, geophysics, geography, and archaeology, developing your understanding of how natural systems affect human cultureпПСand are influenced by it. The multidisciplinary scope of an earth science education may point to employment in the local oil-and-gas sector, but also creates opportunities for work in international development, particularly in natural resources development, and dealing with the associated socio-economic issues.
