This program is intended to accommodate students for early childhood instruction (birth to 2 ) and lets them lead and work across a vast assortment of settings including elementary faculty (Prep to Year 3), kindergartens and childcare. Students find out about the value of wellbeing, play and surroundings in early learning and reap the benefits of educated professional experiences in a range of early childhood settings that relate theory and practice. Students also gain rewarding and valuable wider field experience in the place where they participate with community projects and work together with children, families and communities. This course has been developed in partnership with leading educational bodies, and since they graduate will qualify to register with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Year 12 or equivalent. Pre requisites: Year 12 English (Units 3 and 4, C)
- General Maths, Maths Methods or Specialist Maths (Units 3 and 4, C)
- And a overall science subject (Units 3 and 4, C). A Year 1-2 history subject is recommended. Applicants must establish non-academic capacities according to Personal Statement requirement. Special English language requirements apply.
