This one-year program is designed for qualified educators and other educational professionals who would like to study instruction at an advanced level. Commonwealth Supported Places are offered for candidates. The application is acceptable for teachers, coaches in business and trade, mature educators and other practitioners, but does not offer a qualification in pre-service instruction. The program offers two different regions of specialisation: Educational Studies, Assessment and Assessment, Educational Psychology, Gifted Education, Degree, Special Education, Teacher Professional Learning, TESOL and Visual Arts Education.

  • Bachelor degree and a postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. Graduate Diploma of Education or Master of Teaching)
  • Or a 4-year pre-service teacher Instruction qualification plus professional experience, equivalent to the qualifications Necessary for Doctorate Educator status at NSW
