This dual degree gives students the possibility to combine health and physical education with outdoor education. This program prepares students to teach Years 7-12 in health and physical education along with yet another instruction area of the choice such as English, geography, history or mathematics. Students may also pursue a career in outdoor / environmental education centers, adventure tourism and ecotourism. This amount was developed in partnership with leading education bodies, and graduates will be eligible to enroll with the Queensland College of Teachers. Students will learn in quality sport and physical exercise science labs, accredited by the National Sport Science Quality Assurance program at the Australian Institute of Sport.

Year 12 or equivalent. Prerequisites: Year 12 English (Units 3 and 4( C) and General Maths, Maths Methods or Specialist Maths (Units 4 and 3, C). Year 1 2 HPE is advised. Applicants must attest non-academic capacities depending on Personal Statement requirement. Special English language requirements apply. Students need to be aware of the physical components and location requirements of this program.
