Specialist science and maths teachers are in demand across Australia. This dual degree lets you combine the passion for science together with five-star teaching abilities, qualifying one to teach students in Years 7-12. Specialise in two teaching subjects such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, psychology or geography, and learn how to organize courses, examine students, and control a classroom of students. You are going to get the chance traveling to rural and remote areas for an instruction placement and learn how to teach a wide range of students in varied educational settings.

Graduates may apply for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.

Year 12 or equivalent. Prerequisites: Year 12 English (Units 4 and 3 , C) and General Maths, Maths Methods or Specialist Maths (Units 4 and 3, C). Per year 1-2 Science subject (rather Chemistry) is suggested. Applicants must demonstrate non-academic capacities as per Personal Statement requirement. Special English language requirements apply.
