The Master of Engineering (Professional) is designed to produce job-ready graduates with competencies in advanced engineering techniques and with the wider skill sets and features (for example, knowledge of information science, hazard and safety engineering, resources managements, conflict resolution and direction ) required to perform and succeed as professional engineers. Students will complete basic and advanced level discipline specific engineering issues, an engineering thesis, and industry experience as demanded by Engineers Australia.

Students completing this class will be accredited by Engineers Australia to get Stage 1 competency standards to work as graduate engineers.

Completion of a four-year AQF level AQF Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) in any field cognate with the major being studied.
