The Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) was founded in 1978 and specialises in training engineers. 7,000 students are registered at the university; almost one in every five students is of foreign nationality.
The Students' Union, international students' societies, and student tutors offer guidance to newcomers. An orientation and a preparatory German language course will be offered before the start of the programme.
