This course provides postgraduate instruction for future and existing practitioners in the background, principles and principles of ecological management, particularly in the context of wet-dry and semi arid tropical ecosystems and humid landscapes. The generic skills theories and tools covered in this course are also highly relevant to individuals employed in other ecosystems, and include a focus on the societal context within which ecological management occurs.
Graduates may seek professional membership to Institutions like the Australian Rangeland Society, Ecological Society of Australia and Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand.
- Bachelor Level, Graduate Diploma or honours Level or equivalent in a relevant field, such as biological science, earth science, environmental engineering, environmental science, geography, geographic information, sustainability studies or other discipline as deemed appropriate
- Applicants who hold a Level not from the Areas listed may be Viewed on the basis of relevant professional experience
