The MA in European Studies is an interdisciplinary postgraduate course taught in English by experts in their fields. Students complete 120 ECTS points in up to four semesters - students willing to study intensively may also complete the programme sooner. Its goal is to provide graduate students with knowledge, expertise and experience in the wide field of European affairs, from the points of view both of the European institutions and Central and Eastern Europe.
Students choose between four study track, allowing them to focus on the areas in which they are interested in their learning and research:

* Europeanisation and Governance in CEE
* Studies in the Holocaust and Totalitarian Systems
EU Studies specialisation
The EU Studies specialisation focuses on the EU and European institutions and the key issues facing them, and students develop a Central European perspective on the European integration process.

Central and Eastern European Studies specialisation
Students taking the Central and Eastern European Studies specialisation focus on the history, experiences and culture of Poland and its neighbours in Central Europe and to the East, in the countries of the former Soviet Union and its satellites.

Europeanisation and Governance specialisation
The Europeanisation and Governance in CEE specialisation aims to systematise knowledge of processes of Europeanisation and democratisation in CEE, integrating research and teaching as part of a project including seminars with the participation of experts from the ARENA Centre for European Studies at the University of Oslo.
