The Masters in Evidence-Based Pharmacology (Evidence-Based Health Care and Pharmacotherapy; Medical Statistics / Biostatistics; Systematic Reviews; Epidemiology) Program is designed to prepare students for a research career in the expanding field of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM), pharmaceuticals and Cochrane systematic reviews. The Course is primarily based on students’ active participating in research projects. By the end of the Master’s program graduates should be able to design their own PhD research project.

The Program focuses on the methods in clinical research design and analysis. It builds on the multidisciplinary nature of health care, pharmacology and pharmacotherapy, thorough understanding of causes and pathophysiology of diseases, potential and limitations of interventions. This is reflected in the Master’s program.

The logistics of the Course allows students of the Masters program to opt for lab/clinical or desk research, or a combination of both, thus offering many research opportunities.

The ultimate goal of the teaching staff of the Masters in Evidence-Based Health Care Evidence-Based Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy; Medical Statistics / Biostatistics; Systematic Reviews; Epidemiology)  Course is to implement the program as a challenging, exciting and comprehensive introduction to the fascinating world of Evidence, Medicine and Pharmaceuticals while mastering the tools of biostatistics and epidemiology.

  • Primary candidates for many PhD programs, either at the Kazan Federal University or internationally. Masters in Evidence-Based Health Care course provides a unique opportunity of creating students’ own PhD projects and contributing to it in advance.
