NIDA's Master of Fine Arts (Directing) aids highly-talented early career professionals to understand the directing process through education and training at the components of production, the interpretation of text and the communication techniques required to participate with the contemporary viewer. The course places strong focus on the collaborative role of the manager from the theatrical process and challenges students to produce and express their particular vision while in the context of international operation practice. This course provides students with the ability to analyse the theoretical underpinnings of this manager's craft and combine knowledge, skills and techniques across many platforms of performance, including film and theater. Students generate a short drama or film in a public season, undertake a research project and take part in an international field trip.

  • Graduate applicants seeking Entrance must: Possess an undergraduate degree or five Decades of Expertise in an area relevant to directing
