The Edinburgh MBA enhances your career potential by delivering a unique and powerful set of insights, tools and skills to prepare you for strategic leadership in a rapidly changing world.
This 12 month MBA programme focuses on a range of core business disciplines and integrating courses to build your capability for incisive analysis, innovation and strategic leadership. It also allows participants a choice of specialisation in finance, strategy, entrepreneurship or sustainability.
In semester 1 and 2A, students study twelve foundation courses in major disciplines; this is the foundation upon which the whole MBA is built. These include a course in corporate strategy and a week long integrative project. In addition students select three specialist option courses. Here you tailor your studies towards your career interests, through the selection of your option courses. Learning about strategy also becomes a central feature of the programme at this stage.
Recently introduced is the option of a specialisation route consisting of taking two options and the MBA Capstone Project in a specific area of focus. Students will have their specialisation recognised with a Business School Certificate in Finance, Entrepreneurship & Family Business, Carbon Management or Strategy. Specialisations must be agreed in advance with the programme team.
