At the end of the course you will have a clear understanding of the evolution, nature and functioning of contemporary financial markets and a range of functional skills for further analysis.
By combining elements from Leicester's Schools of Law and Management, the course gives you a grounding in legal analysis and writing, and a wide range of optional modules encompassing many aspects of international law, political economy, finance, regulation and general management skills.
The MA Global Financial Markets is strongly interdisciplinary, very flexible and thus relevant to many different professional environments.

Teaching and assessment methods
A mixture of teaching methods is used, including lectures, group work, case study analysis and guided reading. Student performance is assessed through both assignments and examinations.
