This program makes it possible for graduates of other disciplines to get the knowledge and skills to join this fast expanding field. Studies unite theory with extensive practical experience over the healthcare sector. Students develop their expertise in health classification and activity-based performance management, direction of health information systems, health informatics, analysis of health statistics, and research with health advice.

The Master of Health Information Management is accredited by the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA). Membership could require an an application to the expert human body and might have additional or ongoing conditions beyond completion of their education.   • Successful applicants without any prior study in physiology and anatomy at an appropriate level must successfully complete a La Trobe University-approved anatomy and physiology bridging course
