This class combines the scientific understanding of the human body with the knowledge and skills for addressing health issues and encouraging health in humans and the city, ensuring graduates obtain the skills to be competent professionals in the area of health promotion. The training class material lends itself to advanced instruction procedures and fieldwork is incorporated in the third and second decades. The Institution of Public Health is affiliated with all the WA Centre for Health Promotion Research. Throughout the significant grants it attracts, it includes students and staff the opportunity to take part in cutting edge health promotion research.
Candidates are eligible for Registration with the Australian Health Promotion Association and the Public Health Association of Australia.
