Health Science - Health and Physical Education

This program brings together a comprehensive base of health sciences, comprehension of physical process, and skills in reaching diverse individuals. Students gain the theoretical abilities to simplify fresh challenges, and practical skills required to help folks improve their wellness. The HPE application is famous for its worldwide standard of its own centers. Western Sydney University has invested considerably in a brand new fitness center and revived the dance and health centers used for HPE. The class explores challenging areas including medical problems, sexuality, drugs, psychology and risk-taking behaviors, in addition to general wellbeing involving human intellect, medical systems, health research and promotion. This program empowers students to come up with wide-ranging skills, which may be applied post-graduation in a variety of contexts. The effectiveness of this program may be that the growth of graduates having a holistic understanding of the concepts of health and bodily exercise and its relationship to the other aspects of personal development and physical instruction.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• Any two units of English
• Any student on placement in NSW Health facilities will need to conform to its occupational testing and vaccination policy before placement.
