    Enjoy two campuses in the heart of Europe and the home of hospitality. Glion campus offers a scenic hotel school setting above Lake Geneva, while Bulle campus has a business atmosphere in a university town.

    SEMESTER 5 – Internship

    The second internship semester aims at developing your project management and administrative skills, it also helps you to choose a specialization.

    SEMESTERS 6 & 7 – Business Administration

    The final year of the bachelor degree focuses exclusively on higher-level management and business administration courses. Currently the London campus offers only one specialization: the BBA in Hospitality Management while the Bulle campus in Switzerland offers the BBA in Hospitality Management and the Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management with specializations in Sustainable Development in Tourism, Human Resources, Real Estate Finance and Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing or Event Management.

    Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hospitality Management

    This degree opens the doors to a wide range of career opportunities. It is the best choice for those students who have career aspirations as executives in large companies or step into the entrepreneurial world.

    Bachelor in Hospitality Management with Sustainable Development in Tourism

    Countries and regions increasingly depend on tourism as a substantial element of their economy. This degree prepares students for employment in managerial jobs where they will play key roles in planning, developing and promoting tourism.

    Bachelor in Hospitality and Human Resources

    Service industries are “people” businesses. Our graduates are prepared within the broad field of hospitality and specialized in human resource management and development to present companies with a desirable set of skills.

    Bachelor in Hospitality Management with Real Estate Finance and Revenue Management

    Financial institutions, hospitality organizations and accounting firms recruit our graduates for their broad based hospitality backgrounds coupled with high levels of financial insight.

    Bachelor in Hospitality Management with Sales and Marketing

    Marketing is a core business competency which assists in the development and implementation of corporate strategies. Students choosing this specialization will bring innovation and contemporary marketing ideas to their first employers.

    Bachelor in Hospitality Management with Event Management

    Event management and organization is one of the fastest growing segments of the Hospitality Industry. In this program, students will develop skills in event planning and logistics within the broader context of business and management competencies.

    Requirements

  • 18 years old and above.
  • A completed application form with all pertinent attachments and an application fee of CHF. 100.-
  • Study Plan: An essay of motivation describing why the candidate wishes to study in Glion. Average 250-1,000 words with signature and date.
  • Post Study Plan: An essay explaining what the candidate wishes to do after graduation. This essay should include a statement that the candidate will leave Switzerland upon graduation. Average 250-1,000 words with signature and date.
  • A copy of Baccalauréat, Maturité, Abitur, A-levels, accredited International High School Diploma, university degree or equivalent. The above must show all courses completed and the grades received.
  • For those who have studied outside Switzerland or the European Union: Complete information on the school or college with an explanation of the grading system in English or French. Letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor.
  • If English is not your mother tongue, or if you have not spent at least 3 years in an English speaking school, please enclose a copy of one of the following: TOEFL: minimum score 500 or 173 for the computer scoring system or 61 for the internet based test. The TOEFL testing code number for Glion Institute of Higher Education is 7337. Cambridge First Certificate: Grade C. I.E.L.T.S. minimum overall band of 5.0 in all components.
  • All English Certificates must have been issued in the 12 months prior to admission
  • Medical Certificate and Physician’s Report: The Physician’s report must be completed
  • Work Experience

    No work experience is required.
