Individual Support

This qualification reflects the function of workers locally and/or residential surroundings who follow an individualised want to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to aging, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to human support in addition to taking responsibility to get outputs.Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural understanding, in addition to some theoretical knowledge of their concepts and methods required to provide person-centred support.To accomplish that qualification, the candidate should have completed at least 120 hours of are detailed in the Assessment Requirements of these components of competency.No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements affect this qualification at the time of publication.
