The purpose of the Individually Structured Program is to make it possible for academically superior, well-motivated students who know their long-term goals to put together a program themselves. It must be based on an existing departmental program, but you adapt it to your particular needs. For example, a student intending to enter a program in Molecular Biology in a particular graduate school could ensure that his or her undergraduate preparation is most appropriate to that program; or again, a student in Traduction (Translation) might wish to have a background in a particular area of knowledge for a specific type of job.
