This system provides students with knowledge and understanding of two very closely related disciplines. The reward of this degree is the fact that it is going to help open doors for entrepreneurship, startup businesses and new inventions that may require business wisdom and cutting edge information systems and technology abilities. The company part of the double degree allows students to acquire knowledge in one of three center Company are as: Money, Management or Exchange. An option from ten business types will add to the comprehensive wisdom and equip students with the abilities to pursue a career in a chosen field of interest. Students' knowledge is augmented with study at the Information Systems domain including, but not restricted to, system design and analysis, information systems, programing, database design and development, media, system setup and management, mobile and web development and social networking. In pursuing this mixture of analysis, students will learn to assume corporate roles in global enterprises in addition to gain skills needed to begin a business enterprise.

Bachelor of Information Systems is accredited by the Australian Computing Society at the Professional level. For the Business component: Applied Finance major suits the educational requirements for membership of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia). Human Resource Management major: the School of Business will look to have the job of Business (Human Resource Management) accredited with the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). International Business important fulfills the educational requirements for membership of the Australian Institute of Export. Marketing important fulfills the educational needs for recognition as a Certified Practising Marketer and eligibility for membership of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI).

  • Bachelor of Information Systems: HSC Mathematics and any two units of HSC Language
  • Or completed Information Communication Technology Diploma in Western Sydney University, The College.

    Bachelor of Business: Year 12 HSC (or equal )
  • Or finished Diploma of Business Western Sydney University The College
  • Or finished applicable VET award. Assumed Knowledge: Mathematics and any two units of English. Students not able to demonstrate sufficient levels of achievement in math will be asked to utilize one of the elective units to raise their mathematical ability. This will not lengthen the period of analysis.
