This program gives a detailed foundation for its knowledge and application of both communication and design principles in multimedia in its own variety of formats, from the conventional to the contemporary. It investigates the history and evolution of communication as it is present now through traditional media such as print novels, film, television and video, into more emerging and contemporary technologies such as the web having its multiple societal communication and web application options. The class aims to enhance and actualise creative potential by optimizing the pupils' skills in analytical and critical thinking and by fostering an understanding of the underpinnings of their professional uses of design principles in multimedia environments.
