International Business and Management Studies

The choice for this programme is a clever one, since well trained managers in this field are welcomed with open arms at many international companies. The world economy is becoming more and more global. After the foundation phase of 2.5 years you choose a specialization in the 3rd year. Topics covered include management & organisation, international people management, managerial skills, strategic management, export management, business communication, cultural awareness, quality management and accounting. IBMS is joint-organised with 2 other universities guaranteeing you an excellent and diverse teaching team. Unique features for this programme: * Four main specializations for the 3rd and 4th year: Business to business, Retail Management, International sustainability management in Food & Agribusiness and Innovation & Leadership. * Excellent employability score for international students upon graduation * Students from 30 different nationalities are studying IBMS. Definitely an international study environment * The IBMS programme is offered in cooperation with two other main universities in Leeuwarden * The study programme includes a (paid) internship of 6 months in the final year
