This course provides students with the opportunity to explore practice in the context of relevant contemporary theory and research in the field of International Business with particular reference to the management of organisations which operate across international boundaries.

  • There is also a unique opportunity to complete a consultancy project working for a real client on a live brief.

  • You will complete a comprehensive development programme, which includes a short residential team-building course, normally held in the Peak District.

  • You can learn from the best by attending guest lectures from leading organisations. Previous speakers have included representatives from organisations such as E.ON, Lego, Experian, Santander, and IBM.

  • You'll have the chance build you skills and knowledge further with extra-curricular activities such as joining a society, volunteering, and becoming a Student Ambassador.

You will need an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honours degree (2.2 or above).One academic or vocational reference is required.English language requirements for International and EU students. It is an international English language exam set at the right level for academic and professional success. Developed by Cambridge English Language Assessment - part of the University of Cambridge - it helps you stand out from the crowd as a high achiever. 75 (Grade B) IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa. The IELTS test is most widely accepted by universities and is also accepted for Tier 4 visas to the UK- learn more.

We are able to offer a number of competitive scholarships to both home / EU and international students. Our scholarships can cover up to half your tuition fees, and apply to all our full-time MSc courses starting in September and January.

Please note that these scholarships are only available to students who have been offered a place to study on their chosen master's course within the School.
