The Intemational Economic Relations full-time first degree studies programme (IER) falls within the social sciences area described within the National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education.

The studies enable to understand mechanisms of international relations and global economy functioning. Knowledge obtained during the studies serves as the basis for the analysis of state economic and political problems from an international perspective. The studies prepare for professional jobs as middle-ranked specialists and analysts in state and self-government administration units, international or national organizations and institutions cooperating with abroad, enterprises operating in international markets as well as for undertaking one’s own business activity.

A graduate
of first degree studies in International Economic Relations in the field of International Trade acquires knowledge in the scope of development economics, foreign trade organization, management, law, marketing and financial strategic aspects of international enterprises. The graduate acquires advanced skills in showing fluency and innovation necessary to solve complex problems occurring in global economy, most of all, at the contact point between business subjects, regulatory institutions and international organizations. Moreover, the graduate is equipped with competences to manage vocationally complex activities and projects, bear responsibility for his or her own decisions as well as take responsibility for managing his or her own professional development and development of teams he or she is a part of.

A total number of hours of didactic classes amounts to 1635.
Education requirements:


Admission to International Economic Relations full-time first degree studies taught in English is granted on the basis of:

a high school certificate or diploma or a certificate issued abroad entitling its holder to undertake university studies in the country of issue and

a document certifying the knowledge of English.
