During the first three semesters, basics of international management are taught, e.g., accounting, HR, and finance. You can then decide whether you want to spend the fourth semester at one of our international partner universities or the fifth semester as an intern with a company abroad.
During the sixth and seventh semesters, theoretical and practical skills will be enhanced in two majors while the Bachelor's thesis is being written.

Course objectives

The international Bachelor's programme prepares students for a career in an international business environment in Germany or abroad. Graduates in International Management are particularly prepared to be able to fulfil a wide variety of tasks. In addition to having the ability to successfully represent a company in regional locations around the globe, International Management graduates must be qualified to lead multicultural teams. They must also have the flexibility to adapt to technological change and dynamic consumer preferences. Graduates work in a variety of industries in diverse professional fields such as controlling, finance, logistics, marketing, organisation, and accounting.

Language requirements

  • Evidence of knowledge of English, e.g., TOEFL test (min. 80 points internet-based) is recommended
  • Knowledge of German at A2 level (CEFR)

Academic requirements

Secondary education diploma (A level or equivalent)
If required: evidence of periods of study or certificates

Services and support for international students

To make your start in Germany as easy and enjoyable as possible, we offer an orientation programme. This one- or two-week programme is usually held prior to the start of the semester. The orientation programme provides you with all the essential information you need in order to study at FHWS. This includes, for example, a guided tour of the cities and of the university as well as handy tips for living in Germany. You will also meet other incoming students.

Accommodation

Several halls of residence are located in Schweinfurt and Würzburg, within short distance to the campuses, which offer facilities such as furnished rooms, internet connection, and common areas.
