This study programme is broadly designed to give you the widest flexibility and thus the opportunity to develop your strengths and interests within your career. It gives you extensive, hands-on knowledge in all areas of international business.
A bachelor degree in international management gives you a variety of career choices. Nearly every company that operates internationally is your potential employer. Marketing and public relations, sales, accounting, financing and controlling or even human resources are all divisions you can work for with a degree in international management.

The curriculum delivers an academic yet practical university education in all aspects of business with specialisations in marketing, accounting and financial management, human resources and international studies.

Communication, research methods and computer training courses are designed to help you strengthen core competencies you will need for your career.

Requirements

The admissions process involves a comprehensive review of your academic background, test scores, application essay, recommendations, and activities both in school and in your community.
All candidates for undergraduate admission must submit the following:

  • Application for Admission to Undergraduate Study
  • Personal statement/essay
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Official transcripts of all college work, including non-credit course work, if any, and for transfer students.
  • International students should consult the International Students section.

English Language Requirement

Students are required to have a good standard of English before starting any program. For students whose native language is not English, NYC requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 (http://www.britishcouncil.gr/en/exam/ielts) or TOEFL score of 197 (computer based test), , or a recognized equivalent.

All non-native English speakers who do not possess any of the above-mentioned certificates, will be required to take an English language placement test, which is offered at NYC free of charge.

Students that have attained Cambridge Proficiency or TOEFL score of 197 or higher are exempt from the placement test and may enroll full-time.

Overseas students are required to meet the entry requirements for the program they apply for. If you are applying for a bachelor-level program, you are required to submit with your application:

Undergraduate Programs:

  • Satisfactory completion of a recognized secondary school. If you hold an IB, you must have at least 28 points.
  • IELTS 6.0 (http://www.britishcouncil.gr/en/exam/ielts) or any other equivalent qualification.
  • Certified secondary school records in native language with an English translation
  • Certified external examination results for secondary graduation, if applicable
  • SAT scores required for those applicants who have attended a US high school.
  • Two letters of recommendation preferably by a teacher.

Work Experience

No work experience is required.

Funding

Scholarships Scholarships are available to students who are placed on the Dean's List. Placement on the Dean's List in any academic year is reserved for full time students who complete 24 or more credits with a semester G.P.A. of 3.50 (American degree programs) or 2.1 (British degree programs). A student placed on the Dean's List qualifies for the Academic Excellence scholarship worth up to 50% reduction in fees the following year.
