PRIMA’s curriculum has been designed in order to provide students with a sound command of theoretical principles and modern analytical tools in the field of International Marketing and enable them to develop skills, such as individual initiative and critical thinking, which are necessary in order to resume a leading role in today’s rapidly changing world.

DURATION

The duration of the programme is 15 months and is divided in 3 semesters. It includes 8 core modules, 4 elective modules and a dissertation.

DISSERTATION

Dissertation

The final months of the academic programme are devoted to the writing of the dissertation. The preparation of a dissertation is one of the most creative challenges of a post graduate programme. The dissertation aims to:
provide an opportunity to study a particular topic in depth; put into practice theories and concepts learned in the programme; combine relevant theories and suggest alternatives;
enable interaction with practitioners.

Since the course focuses on International Marketing, the dissertation must have a substantial marketing/international marketing aspect. Students are given the following three options:
to undertake their dissertation in AUEB
to undertake their dissertation abroad in a host university under the Erasmus programme*
to undertake a field study project (FSP) in groups of 2-3 students in one of the companies that collaborate with PRIMA**

The dissertation must be written in English.

An application form should be completed. Undergraduate degree requirement The academic background of an applicant is carefully evaluated. Variety in the academic background of the candidates is encouraged. In case of a foreign university degree the applicant must secure a recognition from the Hellenic National Academic Recognition Information Center. English language requirementThe PRIMA program is in English, therefore students need to be fluent in the English language. Applicants whose native language* is not English and whose secondary or higher education was in a country where the official/national language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency in English to be accepted in the program. PRIMA accepts the following internationally recognized tests of English language proficiency:International English Language Testing System (IELTS): with a minimum score of 6.5Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): with a minimum score of 79 (internet-based)Cambridge English Advanced (score A-C) or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)Cambridge Michigan ECPE: with a minimum score of 650* Native language is defined as the language you grew up speaking in your family, community and nation.
